About Master Movers We at Master Movers understands how stressful it is during the process of moving and the last thing that you need is a crew of movers that are not professional. So, here is how we are making sure that the movers we send to your home will be the best. We at Master Movers are advertising in different places looking for Movers/Drivers at all times. We are gathering about 30 to 50 applications per month to work for Master Movers. So when we need to hire a mover we will have many options. We are choosing about 5 of these applications that we believe will be qualified to work for Master Movers..
Process of Hiring
- All potential employees must pass a Criminal Background check.
- We send all employees for a DOT (Department of Transportation) exam which includes a Drug and Alcohol screening. These are performed at a certified facility recommended by the DOT.
- All Movers/Drivers go through a training process of watching videos of How to Pack, there How to Move, How to Protect all kinds of furniture. As well as performing a move within our facility to make sure these skills are maintained.
- We also, train the movers/drivers how to fill out all paperwork that you would receive during your move. They are also trained to be able to answer many questions. If there are any that they cannot answer our office staff is available to you.
After we have provided the movers/drivers with the right training and tools they will be able to perform a good job on the day of your move. The movers/drivers have signed our company policy which explains that when there is damage they will be held 50% responsible for this.
